Apache PHP Python and Trac oh my...

So Trac had a tenancy to keep breaking due to the way I setup the web server. Problem is that Trac uses Python, which is installed via Gentoo. So when there is a Python update, it can break things because the web server wasn't installed using Gentoo, it was setup from source. That's a problem you run into some times when you do some things one way and other things the other way. I took some time to setup my web server with Apache 2.2 the Gentoo way of doing things, so hopefully that will prevent things from getting whacked. Nice thing is I figured out how to put things where I like them, yet still allow Gentoo to maintain the software. Bonus, since it makes keeping things up to date that much easier.

The upgrade went rather smoothly, but since I updated the system, if you notice any quirks, let me know.

Time to get cracking!

Saw this a few days ago. Very very cool idea. I find it interesting to see how fast the 8800GTX increases things. Very creative.

GPG keys

So I've been trying to remember my GPG password. I kinda know what it is but I can't quite remember the details (I know it's a line from a song by a particular band). I'm trying over and over to guess it correctly; for all I know, it has punctuation or capital letters or something that could be fucking me up. Hell I created it eight years ago.

Anyway, my question is is there any quicker way to do this than sending a fake e-mail to myself and going through pine's mind-numbing time-sucking prompts every three failures? Something like a command line command would be great. Automatic cutting out after three failures is fine, but having to sit through pine's multiple timed prompts (it's either three or four) is infuriating.

Or is it not worth it, and I should just trash that pair and build a new key-pair? I guess, to be fair, I only have like six contacts in my ring, of which two are krux and two are stooph. Heh.

Thanks.

Krux, you say I never post shit that interests you, so this one is for you:

Portable Home-Made Dreamcast

I know you're a huge fan of this console, and an avid electronics hobbiest, so I could see you tearing down on this.

And remember. The Dreamcast didn't fail gamers. We failed the Dreamcast.

Looking for some hardware..

I don't know if one of you might have this hanging around, or know where to get one, but I am looking for a Motorola CPU 68882 running at 50 Mhz.. I picked up on at 20Mhz by accident and the card I'm using it in runs at 50Mhz (and I don't want to slow it down).

And yes, E-Bay has a 40Mhz one for about $75, but if someone has one lying around, that would be groovy!

Here is some surreal french cartoon porn masquerading as a condom PSA (and not remotely safe for work):

What if the lyrics to a song were determined by the shit going on in the video?
